This is one of the safety razor kits from Anthony at Golden Nib. This is the first one of these that I have done and I like the kit.
Wrapped it in Alternate White Marble from Exotics.

Nice turning Dick....

Ive always wondered how those razors compare to the expensive 5 blade cartridges we have now. Ive always wanted to try one but dont know if I would like it. Any experiences using it??

I have recently gone back to a DE (double edge) razor and although it takes some relearning of technique, it is much less expensive for the blades. Here is a link to a site: http://www.badgerandblade.com that has a lot of good information on DE shaving.

That is what i started out shaving with in the "ole days" Blades have to be much better then the old Gillette blue blades. That Alternate Marble goes perfect with a razor handle of that type. Looks good.. Carl
