Both finished with Danish Oil.

There may have been a "few" cracks...

Well, you wanted wood with character, you got it...!:wink::biggrin:

That was a piece of the root, limb wood is very different, the root wood has a work density similar to cork (not the wood from the tree) while the wood above 1' from the trunk base, is identical to Grevillea, Banksia, and others, they are all a big family...!:)

Beautiful stuff..!
