A few more Salt / Pepper Mills. Central one is Big Leaf Maple, back two are Sapele. Wooden portion is 4" (10cm) tall. They use ceramic crush grind mechanisms. Finished with polyurethane.

I like the shape and the mills. The shape is one found in lots of primitive art. It reminds me of female sculptures found in Mexico and Central America.

Thanks everyone, they were a fun project to make.

Jim, a friend makes lots of these for sales at craft shows. He added them to his line up after trying them for himself and really liking them. They are the PSI kit.

Any input on how well these mills work Eric? PSI mills?

Jim,
I've made and sold over a dozen and most people really like them... I haven't used one but they feel good when I turn the mechanisms after assembly.

Not to steal holmqer's thunder or hijack his thread, but these are a few I made... My pear shapes weren't as smooth or good as his....
