I doubt that, they will do anything about it, removing the stumps would require creating a barrier to prevent the water/tide to flood the working area. It can be done, and I would love to be involved with some tests of that wood.

I would estimate that, the wood will be very hard wet and even harder dry, the salts saturation content will be extremely high and would create havoc with any cutting tools but, and I said, I only wish that I could have some of it to transform into pen blanks for everyone to try it...!:rolleyes::)
