There have been a lot of posts to this site about the venerable fountain pen and how well they might be selling and for how much.
Well guys and gals, in today's LA Times there is a story about the new Wynn Las Vegas resort, and on its first day of business a fountain pen was sold for $47,000! Apparently the Wynn caters to those folks who we need to get to know.
I wonder what wood it was turned from.[?]
Was it a Baron? or a Gentleman's pen?
What I really wonder is how to break into this market.
Just a pen or two a year.... kinda makes me smile.
