I have not been in the shop much lately due to some wrist tendinitis, but I made it out tonight and turned these two pens.

The Koa wood was purchased from Winkler Wood in Oahu Hawaii during a recent trip. Both pens were finished with medium CA.

I would love your opinions!

I like the BEB too. The color works well with your chosen hardware. Nicely Done.
The Koa is a great wood. Smart purchase... It looks sharp.

I've been working on the same pen for two weeks now, so I'm so jealous of you folks that post these "I made these 6 pens just tonight" threads! And I'm doubly jealous, because your work is so beautiful! I'd be darn proud to have made those two pens.

Thanks guys. I love that blue box elder...just so royal looking!

It will come PaulSF... These are my 157th and 158th pens so you just will get more comfortable with how the lathe should sound and how the wood peels back and you know when you have the right mojo! :)
