Finally got around to finishing this one. Rough turned it in September. It was supposed to be an Xmas present but didn't dry soon enough. The gift was delivered to my Bro-in-law this past weekend.

Actually, this started out as a 12" bowl but lost an inch due to warping while drying.

Good looking bowl Bob! I like the way you lined up the grain patterns for the final look inside, adds a little something xtra special to the bowl.

Wipe on poly and 000 steel wool between each coat. Thanks for all the nice replies too!

Bob - VERY nicely done. Really like the 2 rings around the outside. Classy touch.
(Nice to see that there are other folk out there that turn twice, too). Personally I believe it gives a better bowl. It's that delayed gratification thing.
