Color casting challenged

I would like to make a solid pink blank using Michaels casting resin.

Should I use:

1. White and red opaque pigments,

2. White opaque pigment and red dye,

3. Something else?

Use white opaque dye, and a small amount of red opaque dye. Add more red to work your way up to the color of pink you want.

Something I learned... Start with mixing in the white and then slowly add in the color you want to "lighten" White THEN red. It's hard to lighten up red. It's easier to tint white.

Liquid pigments such as mixol work great but definitely slow cure. May need to add heat with low temp toaster oven or the like.

If you want a really bright pink you need to use magenta instead of red.
