Question about Jr. Gent II

I'm about to work on my first Jr. Gent II rollerball with a piece of Amboyna burl. As I was drilling the upper barrel on the lathe the back end blew out slightly. My question is how much room is there if I have to trim off up to 1/16th of an inch? Is there room or is this pen critical to tube size?

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

If that is all you need to trim you will be ok. If you need to trim more than that you can shorten the spring a little.It is not as critial as some other kits
