I tried to put together a cartridge pen a new way to me,with primer in center and cap. had some old in bad shape shells and some slimline parts,i needed to see how brass was cut up and what to expect,should have made the primers on the upper blank smaller and then i could have used more antler material which would have given it better balance,and use new brass,oh well.. Very nice for a first effort. And why waist good brass on an experiment? Now you know what to do for the second and so on. Good way to find that perfect balance too. Not many of us get it right on the first try with new designs. I know I sure don't.

Same here. I never get it right the first time...........or the second...third.....fourth.... Come to think of it I NEVER get it right ( acording to my wife anyway)[][][][][][]
