I am working on an idea and wonder what the overall 10 most favored pen kits that are available today.

Post below what your top favorite pen kits are.

Thanks!

Now that is a tricky question and the reason is, favorite does not mean most made. I love the Dayacom line of kits the most but can not afford to make them all the time. I would go broke and those would not be a kit I give away easily. Now if you ask what kit you make the most and list from there may work better.

I edited my response to include a partial list but these are basically my all time favorite kits but not the most made.

Dayacom Imperial (all time Favorite)
Dayacom Venus
Dayacom Abrahms
Dayacom Major
Dayacom Emperor
PSI Majestic
PSI Majestic Squire
Professor kit
Sierra line (most sold)
Panache

Interesting question - I think it will vary a lot by individual preferences. Actually turned into a fun little exercise.

Cigar
Slimline
PSI - Executive
Perfect Fit Convertible
Baron Roller Ball
Vertex Click
Sierra Elegant Beauty
Bolt Action
PSI - Princess Pen
PSI - Classic Twist

McKenzie Penworks' Liberty (click and twist versions), Coyote (click and twist versions), Desire (RB & FP)
Bullseye Apollo & Artemis (RB & FP)
Lazerlinez Liberty, Coyote, Falcon, Desire, Eagle, Raven. (No longer made - intellectual property sold to McKenzie Penworks.)

All of McKenzie's/Lazerlinez's are made in the US and are stainless steel. McKenzie is now also making stainless steel and brass versions of the Apollo & Artemis for Bullseye.

My favorites and why.

EDC- longer tube and plenty of room to cast embedded objects. Somewhat slim and a click makes it easier to carry.
Triton- nice looking kit that not overly expensive. It makes a nice desk pen.
Wall Street 2- since the Sierra Style is a very popular kit I turn these because of their popularity.
Slimlines- although this kit has it pros and cons I've always liked it. There are so many things you can do with it. Since it's a smaller diameter people like it to use as a carry pen.
Although I have several other kits these are my first go to styles.

McKenzie Coyote
Dayacom Jr. Milton
Dayacom "compensators" (Statesman, Emperor, Imperial, Zeus, etc)
Beaufort Mistral
Beaufort Cyclone
Beaufort Sicorro
Vertex
Duraclick EDC

Honorable mention to Bullseye Artemis and McKenzie Desire, both of which I have in house, look awesome, but I haven't gotten my teeth into yet.

Just to clarify a little more, the reason I am asking is that I am working on a couple of ideas. One will be kit/tube specific and the other is just in relation to overall size of the completed pen,

Thanks!

Haven't been in this to have a favorites list. I do like Slimline kits as they can be modified in so many ways. I always marvel at the movies, The Patriot for example, where they write with a goose quill and ink bottle. Would that qualify as a Slimline due to the small diameter? ☺️

Wow, 10 - that's a lot. The first six or seven were pretty easy for me to identify.

Caballero (Jr. Gent style)
Dura Click EDC (both pen and pencil)
Elegant Monarch (specifically the Cross band)

Dave
