I just picked up a gallon of silmar from Eastern Burlap. It came with a small bottle of catylst. I don't want to run out to soon. So I am going to ask: how many drops of catylst do you use? I just want to get a general consenses.

Hello Neighbor! That differs form person to person.I usuall use 5 or 6 drops per ounce.

I've used 3 - 4 / oz in the warm weather with success.

3 in warm weather.....4 in cold weather is what I am using.
You always get enough to add 10dps/oz which is what the manufacturer recommends because they expect you to cast in very thin layers and it takes that much to cause a reaction......

I generally use 4. And if their bottle is similar in size to US Composites, then you probably won't even use half of the catalyst for the gallon.
