Nice work. I like your shapes and choice of materials. I haven't made many non-wood stoppers, but your rationale for the money blank is hard to argue with :)

Great job Eric. I especially like the first and last ones.

I am a new penturner (only done about a dozen) and would also like to learn to do stoppers. Can you tell me, is all that is required to add to my Jet mini lathe for stoppers:

* A drill chuck
* A stopper mandrel
* A drill & tap ???

Do you not use the tailstock for stoppers? Or is it more complicated involving more "extra" hardware?

Any tips appreciated.

Again, great looking stoppers there!
