Yellow Box timber is tough sometimes ornery grows to a great age, is a beautifull tree.
Highly favoured as a source of fuel because it generates intense heat and lasts a long time burning. Luckily for us every once in a while it throws a burl that also is quite special infused with reds, yellows, browns, birds eye. Lately my transfer method glitches so only one side ie opposite the clip view.

Kind regards Peter.

PS happens to be unique to this country I do hope it has been grown by now in yours like so many of our Eucalypts. It can be found occasionaly, worth using in the Burl form.

Peter, Your display and knowledge of woods is amazing! I like the picture as it eliminates the distraction of the clip and allows one to appreciate the singular beauty of the wood. Thanks for showing! Regards, Doc
