Yellow Bakelite

Yup we like it--------Yellow Bakelite---real stuff from the 1930's & 40's
Tubes painted bright yellow----worked real good.

I am not one for yellow but that is very nice! Looks like something my Grandfather couldn't have afforded. He was a teacher who had graduated the 6th grade and taught in an old one room school house and tried to farm.

How did it turn?

Bakelite is easy to turn, if you turn resins.

Smells GOOD too, not at all like ebonite.

Nicely done. Yellow is the only color I don't have - because the sample I saw looked a bit too garish for me. You've done a nice job of toning it down just enough.
