My sister just bought herself an IPad,and when I saw the new stylus pens in the new PSI catalog tonight I was wondering about making her one for Christmas.

So do you think she would use one,or are you just supposed to tap your finger?

I've never used one,so I just don't know.If I ask her,it wouldn't be a surprise.

Thanks for any thoughts!

I have one, as does my wife, and we never use ours. That said, I know a few people who only seem to use their stylus...i think it comes down to a personal preference and what the person uses their iPad for. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

The feedback from the ones I have sold is that they are used mostly when the program calls for writing words. Other than that, they still use their finger. They found that taking notes etc was easier with the stylus.

Yes an Ipad user will, I sold one to a girl carrying an Ipad at the show we're doing, I even sold a Pen / Stylus combination that Andrew made to a guy with big clumsy fingers like mine.
We sold 3 Styli yesterday and it is a SLOW show.

Thanks guys,I'll get it ordered.

I think it wiil make a nice gift for her, hope she likes it!

Thanks again,
Steve

I've been watching iPad usage at work. They've become the "in" thing to pull out at meetings. I remember when it was Palm Pilots. People claim they are taking notes with them, but if you look over their shoulders they are fooling around with everthing else because they are bored with the meeting.

What needs to happen is make the stylus a cool thing also. If stylus become cool you won't be able to make enough of them. Apple devices are all about being cool.

So I'm reading that styli sell.... I have one for my iPad but I never use the thing.

I make a cool stylus/pen combo. At the show we did last weekend, we sold 40 of them. The reason we only sold 40 is because that is all I took. Those sold before noon on the first day of the show.

Been turning about 2 months. I have sold 21 pens to date. 19 have been stylus pen combos. Then again I work in Information Technology

Another yes, the wife finds her's to be the 'cat-meow'.....

I've tried using one on the iPhone, waste of time for me. But I guess if your needing signatures for CC or something, it would be required.

Scott (Walgreens make a cheap styli...rip it apart for the pieces) B
