Recently, our club (combined with a sister club) had a group buy (39 total) on lathe lamps from Ken at Woodturners Wonders. These are amazingly bright lamps. I chose the Quasar model....not the brightest lumens but it has a larger magnetic base which should stay in place while moving the light.
I picked up my lamp at the club meeting last Thursday night, came home and plugged it in....no light. Tried another outlet...no light. Friday late morning, I call about a replacement and spoke with whom I believe is Ken's wife. She was wonderful to chat with, apologized for the problem, got my info and sent the replacement out that same afternoon.
This morning (Monday), USPS delivers the new lamp.....and it works!!....and is BRIGHT!
She also sent along a return label for the defective unit.
I know there can be a dud every now and then in any product but their customer service was excellent!
