Hi I'm new here and new to pen turning. I'm out shopping for some supplies and found http://www.woodenpost.com. I haven't found any comments regarding this website and was wondering if anyone here might have some experience with them. Good prices from what I can see. Similar product offerings as Pen State.

A lot of great info here. I've been reading for days and still much more to learn. I haven't found any other pen turners locally so I'm trying to learn this on my own. I do have some experience in wood turning, but it's been a long time.

Thanks
Dave

I just got a couple of bottle stoppers from The Wooden Post. Good prices and speedy delivery. About three times as fast as Penn State.

Dave, in answer to your question, I've placed about 7 or 8 orders with http://woodenpost.com - from pen kits and display cases to bottle stoppers and mandrels. Prices are excellent; service is great. I don't order online, but instead call to talk to the owner, Gary. Nice guy, very accomodating...as are people from Arizona S., PoC, etc.

Lanman,

The owner of the site Gary Neeley is top notch. A very nice guy. I have placed many orders with him and have always received excellent and fast service.

I bought my first turning equipment from Gary and have visited with he and his wife at thier home. The products and the service are always first rate. I put him on a par with BB at AS.
