Last year my daughter took wood shop 1 in High school this year she is taking wood carving. She was asking my a couple of questions on finishing. We got to talking about the class. She asked my where I sat in the class room when I was in high school. Funny thing is she is setting in the exact same desk and spot where I sat 26 years ago. Not the same teacher.. But it is the same class room. Now I wish I had carved my name in the desk...LOL

I had two elder brothers go to the same High School I went too. As I was the class clown my chair was always next to the teachers desk so she could keep her eye on me, and you guessed it my two brothers before me sat in the exact same position all through school.[:o)]

Dan, Your story brought to mind how my mother, sister and I where all born in the same hospital, the same delivery room and by the same doctor. Very small town.

I think it would be fun to take shop class. Maybe I should talk dad into it. We have a private school so we only go to the 8th grade and we don't have shop class.[V][V][:p][:p]

She's lucky, we don't have shop in our highschool class, we have stuff like production labs and all, and then engineering course(which i started this year and can't complain about w/ all the $ invested in IT equipment) We atleast got it in middle school and i was pretty much friends w/ the teacher and i was the only one he trusted to be alone in the wood shop working on a project for stage crew:D
