Got some really cool stuff in the mail over the past few days and felt like sharing with yall. First is a slab of olive burl, second is a slab of buckeye burl, third is a huge knot of grape wood, and fourth is an ash burl cap. Can't wait to cut into these and see what I can get out of them. Alot of it will be casting peices since there are alot of voids and whatnot in them, but I think I can get several solid blanks out of each. The grapewood is so huge that I need to find someone with a saw that can cut it! I'm not brave enough to try to cut it on my 10" table saw!
