Wood Duck Box

My son has a small pond on his property and a few weeks ago he saw a pair of Wood ducks on it. He ask me to make him a nesting box to see if he can get a pair start a nest on his pond. Just got around to it this weekend. It is made out of cypress and has a clean out door so it can be cleaned easily after each nesting season. It sure would be nice to get a pair established on his pond, they are such beautiful birds.

Very nice duck box. The local Ducks Unlimited group have many of those up along the river I live by.
