Trimmed a dead branch off a redbud tree this morning. When I saw the color in the branch, I couldn't just send it to the pile for mulch making, I had to cut it up and seal the ends for future use.

My name is Cozee and I am addicted to wood. I have 2 upright freezers that I have converted to drying boxes/dry storage and both are stuffed full of all kinds of woods and burls. Then there are the shelves stacked full, chunks of trees rescued from landscape recycling and street side/Craigslist "free wood" piles, and several hundred board feet of white oak I got from a barn razing that I have stored in a cousin's barn.
