I am new to this site and already did the intro thing. But I wanted to let the new people know that dealing with people here is wonderful. I ordered items from

And recieved them in record time and they were awesome. The corian from Elody21 was amazing the colors were vibrant and not just the ones that look like marble but solid colors. Cant wait to try the pendant jig with the Hot (Red) Corian.

The figured items from LandfillLumber were excellent as well and I am sure will make some awesome pens. The grain and figure in the wood blanks is amazing. As soon as I can get pics of this stuff I will add it.

So anyone new to this site feel comfortable in dealing with these people.

I am no where near ready to post a pen or product but hope to learn a lot in the next few months. I have only turned some slim lines at a Wood Craft class and have helped people turn pens at the woodworking shows for Craft USA. I am a member of the FRWT and Rocky Mountain Wood Turners guilds here in Colorado.

I hope all newbys take full advantage of all the knowlege on this site.

This is, in my opinion the best site on the internet. I try to buy all my pens, supplies etc. from the members here. I have never been disappointed by any of them.

Welcome, Ed. I agree with you wholeheartedly. When we were new here we never got the feeling that this site was one of those 'Good 'ol boy' sites that snubbed the newbies or made anyone feel unwelcome in any way. Participation in discussions is welcomed and encouraged. Support, advice and constructive criticism is always available and it's just a fun place to hang out and learn a few things.
