lately, I decided to send Jeff an updated version on the lacquer dipping... let's just call it a guide with a few photos (very few). It should explain the process well enough for those interested. you can find it here. If you've been looking for a quality finish with durability, give it a try. It's actually quite easy. Be forewarned, it takes MUCH longer than any other finish we do (I think). But the results are well worth it.
Important note: I did NOT come up with this idea. If I've sad it once, I've said it a hundred times, I got it from an explanation on Russ Fairfield's site. The methodology described in this document are simply the steps that work for me. Your MPG may vary. Hmmm, it's been a few years since I've seen that phrase.
