Wisconsin Woodturners Expo

Wondering if any of you have attended past Expos? I'm thinking of going but would like some feedback on what kind of show it is. How many vendors come to shows like this? Up here in the northwoods I don't get a chance to attend many woodworking shows, especially turning shows. I am more interested in tools and techniques than a gallery show. I appreciate seeing high end turnings but I really am looking for things that I can put to use in my shop doing pens and some small turnings.

Really like some feedback about this show so I can decide if I should spend the time and $$ to attend.

You will have loads of fun attending. We attend the local one up here every year and it is great. Lots of vendors with cool toys and even some hands on at the booths. My introduction to actually turning a pen was hands on with Barry Gross at his booth.
