Hi Everyone
A quick update....
But First
Turn for the troops is coming up November 11 and 12 at Woodcraft
Stop in and turn a few pens for the troops. If you can't make it Woodcraft has plenty of kits that they can give you and you can turn pens at home.
Put them in the drop box outside the meeting room or bring them in during the event
I have a bunch of kits (75 or so ) and blanks that I will prepare for the event
Now on to our chapter news
We are going to try and set a regular schedule for meetings
I will announce that after confirming with the woodworkers guild for room usage
I am shooting for one Sunday every other month from noon until ??
Some topics we might want to talk about:
1. Bullet / cartridge pens
2. Turning between centers
3. Tips to make better pens
4. Kitless Pens
5. Casting
6. Photography
7. Finished (Glu Boost, poly, CA etc)
8. Marketing and shows
9. Any other ideas you have
