Will The Florida Gators change their mascot?

After much deliberation it appears that the Athletic Director of the University of Florida and Urban Meyer have come to a conclusion that the Florida Gators should change their mascot to the Florida Opossum.

Meyer said, "Simply put, we are playing dead at home and getting killed on the road." :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::beat-up::beat-up::beat-up:

Many years ago I was associated with the Vector car company when they made cars outside of Jacksonville. A guy had them make a car that was painted orange and had a blue leather interior. Not my first choise in colors but that guy is going to very upset with the color change.

Nope, but it is the non-armored version of the TX Opossum... AKA the Armadillo. :biggrin:
