I am having a wierd pre-christmas season this year. The traffic to my website is down 50% but my sales are up 50% in both $$ and orders. Also people are buying higher priced items. Is anyone else seeing this trend?

Higher conversion around gift season.
It has been been a very strong year, web sales are up nicely, show sales have made a major increase. Our web traffic is down significantly from 2-3 years ago when we where working hard at SEO. Most web traffic now comes from show contacts and response from our email marketing efforts.

Better sales across the board, much better sales on the high end. My take is that people are sick of hearing how bad things are and are buying some WANTS, not just NEEDS. Glad to help them out! Website will be getting a major revamp over school holidays so hope that helps with some follow up sales.
