Why not log in?? at Exotics!!

I have noted that many of our customers check out "anonymously". That is, you choose NOT to log into the site. Obviously, we know who you are or it will be impossible to ship your merchandise to you. So, I can only conclude that you see no advantage to "log in".

Actually, there is one HUGE advantage----you can then return to Exotics and see your order, any time.

1) The shipping information (TRACKING number) is on the order!! You don't have to call or email us---you can LOOK!!!!

2) When tax time comes and you want to know what you spent on pen parts, you can see ALL your orders and the total dollars you spent!!!

3) If you want to reorder a blank you really liked, you can see what the name of the blank is by reviewing your last (or last couple) orders!!

So, do yourself a favor!!! LOG IN!!!

Look at it philosophically!!! IF you are a business, your expenses are tax deductible!!! So, between 10 and 40 percent of the amount you spend would have gone to UNCLE, had you not spent it with us!!!!

Money spent with UNCLE will not make pens for you!!!

I am trying to figure out how to add what I forgot to my order -- before you get it to the post office! You need to hold my orders for a few days like PSI does to give me more time after I hit the enter key :wink:

This actually helped me in the past. I had made a certain pen for someone and had to locate the name of that exact same blank. I looked at order history and found it quickly. Great way to stay organized.

I can tell you why I often don't login .... I can never remember my password and don't want to delay my order while I hunt for it!
As fast as stuff disappears there I might miss out!

Funny you should mention this... Last year I.T. At work was fine-tuning our disaster of a computer system at work and was looking over the history on our common desk computer that I share with a day and midnight shift person. They were shocked to see "exoticblanks" and a feather website, thinking they were going to get someone in trouble. Shortly after the words "what kind of freak" came out of their mouth, it was explained to them that I was a pen maker and these were supply sites. They actually contemplated blocking the sites from me anyway, but luckily my boss likes pens, and found it unnecessary. It's not a good place to work but at least I have my websites for sanity purposes.

Build the order but don't checkout. That way the order is there for you to look at and revise. THEN, when you have the money, check out and the items you had on hold should be there. No Back Orders from Dawn !!!!

I still check everything when it arrives......We all know how busy and human Ed is..... Mistakes happen and he is the fastest person I know when it comes to fixing mistakes.

ONE DOWNSIDE to holding your order and building on it!!!

IF you have any "one-of-a-kind" blanks (Toni, JohnU, Patti, MikeShue, etc), they are NOT taken out of stock until you check out!! So, if you are building a cart, make sure there are multiples of everything---if you think you have feathers, check out quick or they WILL be gone!!! That JohnU guy only makes a few hundred and they don't last more than a few seconds.

We really need to clone him!!
