Why I love Granadillo.

The video was too large to upload, so I put a link to my FB page. Pictures never do justice to the chatoyance of Granadillo. This blank was pretty rough and ugly. I wasn't even sure it would hold together, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful pieces of wood I've worked with.

West Penn Hardwoods has a nice selection, too. I'm fortunate to live less than an hour from this place, so I can hand pick stuff. Just an FYI, I don't typically see that much figuring in Granadillo, but it always has a nice chatoyance to it. This is more like what I typically get
