That's a question I've been asked several times this morning.

Some of you know, I work for a "mega-church" in CO. So I work Sundays. Well, today's "The Big Game" and everybody's running around in Bronco's jerseys.

They're not even playing!!!!

When I get asked the jersey question, I usually respond with, "Meh, just not interested." After the umpteenth time, my grace left me and I responded, "Because I don't give free advertising for corporations!" and stormed away.

Sigh.

I hate football. Actually, I don't hate it. I just don't get it.

Don

Football American style was invented because we didn't have enough agility to kick the football like in Europe. We also don't do Australian Rules Football or Rugby because we don't want to get hurt, thus the pads and helmets in our Football game. I have to read the first lesson in church this morning after which I will be leaving for SB Party with half the Choir. Now on Sunday the 20 I will not be in Church as there are 2 Sundays a year I don't plan on going. The Sunday of the Daytona 500 and the Sunday of the Indy 500, so the church office know not to schedule any of my Sunday duties on those days. Back in the day the late former Pastor of our Church would shorten the service so he could get the 2nd half of the NFL Championship game. Boy did he glare at me on the opening day of racing season here locally when I would bug out after the choir anthem and head for the track. The car was on the trailer in the parking lot and I had my white Levis on under the choir rob, or on the few Sunday during the year when we had Sunday races. It was good natured and we had a good relationship.

GO PACK!

Doesnt that mean since "we" cant turn the steering wheel right, like they do in Formula 1, in Europe, is the reason that NASCAR exists?

If your on dirt you do turn right to go left. In NASCAR if your loose you are turning right also. Remember if your loose you don't see the wall before you hit (back end first) If you tight or pushing you do the see the wall all the way till impact. Remember in Europe they use "Oversteer" "Understeer" what ever that means.

I've got to agree. I went to a SB party today, but mostly for the food. Every Monday for the last few months, my 6th period class (which consists of 25 11th grade boys and 3 girls) are nearly impossible to quiet down because they want to talk about the games from the day before. I swear that at least one of them has asked me who my team is every week. Each week I say that I don't have a team because I don't watch Football and they all look at me like I'm from some foreign planet. I'm glad the season's over. (And that there is no school on Monday.)
