where are the pics??

There are some threads that post with a pic of a pen. Not sure why but there are some of these pics don't show up on my computer??? Most do but there are some that do not. The ones that do not are usulaly follwed by comments of how great the pen looks and I can't see it.

Any ideas why this is?? Pic format? My computer settings?

Beats me. If one shows you would think they should all show. Download Mozilla Firefox and try using it instead of Internet Explorer.

I am giving it plenty of time to load.

I am using Internet Explorer.

Kinda puzzles me too why some load and others do not. Usually when they do not there is not an icon indiacting an attachment.
 
Pat, if they're older posts (more than several months), the pictures may have been hosted elsewhere and may have since been deleted. If it's a recent post that's missing a pic, that's a whole 'nother issue!
 
It was the WAlnut Crotch Gatsby - Heaviily Modified post y gr8danish. Pics did not come through. Again I have Internet Explorer.
 
A number of people post embedded links to their photos which are hosted on other sites. One of the photos you reference is actually at http://i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae171/gr8danish/CM Studios LLC/P1020026.jpg . In order for the picture to show on the site, your computer must allow for the redirect of the photo. Obviously that is not happening, which is most likely caused by a security setting.

One of our computer experts (Alphageek?) will have to take over from here as to how to check your settings, but I'm betting that is your problem.
