We had a great day Friday at a show in Alabama, I went to leave for the motel and stepped in a hole, tore the heck out of my ankle, the hospital said nothing was broke, Nice people, down there, Saturday I was worthless, Sunday one of the promoters sons helped my wife load up. Heck of it was we didn't find out about the show until last Tuesday, but if they do it again next year, I'll go, only try and not step in that hole again. Odd thing is I had been out to the van several times, to go get lunch or more stock, I'd gone to a restaurant for a quick dinner and use their wireless net connection, and hadn't seen or noticed the stupid hole, and I parked in the same place. Drs. and Nurses were real nice. I think I like Alabama, other than a massive load of pain it was the best show I've had all year.

Sorry to hear that Ken. Darn hole was probably put there by a woodchuck! <pun intended>
So happy to hear you had the best show all year though. I think things are starting to turn back around, at least a little bit at a time.

Heal quickly and get back at it. Sorry for the pain -- You will be in my prayers to be restored back to perfect health..

(can I say prayers here?)

Again??? What is it with you, Ken??? I can't believe you've done something else to your poor body.

We need everyone to donate bubble wrap to this guy. Maybe if we wrap him up, he won't hurt himself anymore.

Please, please, please be more careful and heal quickly.

Dang Ken, Sorry to hear about that. Hope it gets better soon! Which show did you do? We were free this weekend I'd have tried to drop by. I've got to agree even if I'm biased. There's some real nice folks around here!

Darn the bad luck, tough getting old...........................so I've heard! Hope all goes well and glad you had a good show, at least!!

Sorry that happened. Where in Alabama were you? I used to live in a small town there still have family outside of Mobile...

we were in Cullman it was their fall arts & crafts, first year for the show, that's why we nearly didn't go, but it was pretty nice, I think the weather helped a lot.

Really sorry to hear about that, Ken. Take it easy and don't rush it.

But glad to hear the show went well.

Ken, We almost did that show but like you, it being the first year, I was leery of it. At least one of us benefited from it! We're leaving Thursday for a show in Jackson MS so I've been cranking out inventory anyway so that was another reason We passed on it. If I had known you were so close I'd have dropped by...we're only 30 miles or so from Cullman and do a couple of show there at other times of the year.
