Today is a day to celebrate. Today is the 19th anniversary of my last day as a bachelor.

Tommorow (June 8th) is my wife and my 19th anniversary. I married my best friend and it just keeps getting better.

Anyone know what the 19th anniversary is called?

I've heard it referred to as the Bronze anniversary. Maybe order a Bronze colored blank to celebrate...

It's called wonderful!! Past that what else do you need to know!! Love her, hold her, and I guarantee she will not care about anything else!!

Congratulations on 19 years it is becoming VERY rare to be married that long. I hang out with guys that have been married that long or much longer. The longest is 65 years and continuing I hope that for you and your bride the same will be true.

My wife and I just celebrated our 32nd!

Only thing was .... neither one of us remembered until later in the day.

Congratulations to you and your wife. I am sure you realize that it is not easy, but worth it. My wife and I have been married 41 years today, and here I am sitting on this forum. Must be addicted! Not really, just got back from dinner.

Congrats Tim. We will have 34 this year--we were married on Friday the 13th--it only gets better. Remember it's a partnership of give and take (mostly give:biggrin::biggrin:)

We have been blessed with two great examples.

My parents have been married 53 years, in August.

My wife's parents have been married 50 years, in October.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes.

congratulations. the best of all is that you called her your friend, for those who are newly wed, that's what the secret is. 27 years here and sha had to put up with me, I am not the sweetest honey you can find in the hive either though, If you asked her.

Congrats Tim. This post reminds me of something funny I heard on the radio yesterday. How to stop the oil leak...make a huge wedding band and slip it over the pipe, that'll stop it from putting out!

I was sitting at the table yesterday and crying my eyes out. My wife asks whats wrong. I said "remember when your dad told me its marry you or go to jail?" "Yes, she says", I replied "well, today would have been my release date" and started crying again.

I will add my congratulations and note my rules for a happy marriage.

Always kiss your spouse at least once a day! And kiss like you mean it!

Kiss your spouse one more time than they kiss you!

Never pass your spouse without touching them affectionately.

Never go to sleep without telling your spouse how much you love them.

Prove to your spouse that you do love them by doing small things. A neck rub does wonders!

Buy flowers for your spouse; well, just because
