That's sooo funny!!!!

Jerry, my daily carry is a fountain and it is amazing to watch the eyes of an older clerk light up when they see it. When I actually hand it over for them to try and they learn that I made it, well then the conversation really starts. The younger people around are always amazed at how smoothly it wrights. I love my Triton FP. I do sometimes wish the ink dried a bit quicker, though.

We have members here who debate wich COMPUTER PROGRAM to use for desinging pens! Can ya blame the kid for being currious about something he has never herd of!?!

Rick has a good point. With all the talk about not teaching cursive in public schools it makes me wonder, will this new generation have to print their signature? I mean really look where this is going. You have a kid that is 16 or more that had no idea what a FP is and kids entering school today that will not be taught cursive. This is all very sad to me.

Luckily, my kids are still taught cursive (as well as keyboarding - used to be called typing back in the day).

Unfortunately, I can't write cursive anymore. After all those semesters in high school and college filling out lettering cards for architecture (as well as drawing on a board before CAD), all I do is print.

Lost all the muscle memory that the nuns spent so much time beating into me with a yardstick or a pointer.

totally with you on this one, i have a lot of 'older' customers at my day job and they are always amazed by it. as for the ink, i believe you can buy a quicker drying one, but i am fairly new to f.p.

Whenever I make a sale online, I always write in cursive a "thank you" note to the buyer. I will always keep writing. I guess I'm old school.

I used my carry pen the other day at Ace, and the girl at the counter said she had never seen one, so I handed her the pen and after trying it thought it was the greatest thing. So I made her one and gave it to her, she uses it every day in the store and ordered one for her father so he would not take hers
I used one through highschool but never gave it a thought that the younger generation had not seen or used them. I'm getting old I guess:rolleyes:
