i believe it is called a "bung" mike, and i think the "barrels" are called "Casks". could be wrong on that one though.

Bung is the stopper used in barrels not only for wine but Jack and other!

There is a guy here who has Jack Barrel staves cut to blanks.......they are not pretty but I have had a couple of clients ask for them.
