I made this a while ago. The ca finish on it was not good in several areas, so I put it in the corner and said I would eventually re do it. I ended changing it to a fountain nib as well. It looks so much better now. I have about 8 others to redo for one reason or another and may post them if I get time.

The pen was made to mirror the handle of a split bamboo fly rod I saw.

Birch bark! Makes a great grip as a reminder of the good old days of bamboo rods. They look great but take a lot of time to stack and glue.
