and where to get it please:
I'm interested in trying stablizing blanks. not casting yet, just stablizing. last year, I saw a guy who was making custom knives (saw him in laCrosse WI in June) and using stablized blanks for his knife scales, the scales were impregnated with color during the process.
any thoughts on what to use for the base material, with or with out color, what to use to color. and what/where can I get a vessel that I can use to draw the vacuum in? (not the HF pressure pot please, I'm trying to do this as cheap as possiable). I know some of these questions are answered in other sources on the site, but I figured since I was asking some, I'd ask all.
