What price tags for bowls with wax/oil finish?

Hey all,
I'm trying to find some decent price tags to use on my bowls. The price tags I use now (3/4" Avery dots) don't always stick very well. I use a beeswax and mineral oil finish so I was hoping to find a stickier price tag.

Have any of you found price tags that stick better? I'll be consigning many items for the next three months and I don't want any confusion as to the cost of an item.

Not sure as to a better sticker/label.
You do want to place it on the bottom of the bowl. If they are anywhere else, the sun will cause it to leave a spot under the sticker as the bowl darkens or lightens with time.

A consignment venue is tough. Tags fall off as people handle the item and get lost. Or people help the tags fall off two items and they put the lower price on the item they want. Often times the clerks could care less.

When I did shows I used to print up little tent cards with a color picture of the item, the price and a serial number that matched the number I engraved on the bottom of the item. I stuck the tent card in the item or on the shelf in front of it. At check out time the card had to match the item. Not much change for mistakes at that point.

If I had done consignment (which I didn't) I would have also given an inventory sheet with pictures, serial numbers and prices to the shop with the understanding that they get the right price for anything that leaves their shop.

Be careful your stuff does not get displayed in the direct sun. Wax / oil finishes can start to sweat oil if they get warmed too much in direct sunlight. I saw a guy lose a really nice sale when he picked up a beautiful bowl to hand to a prospective customer and they saw the big oil stain on the cloth it was resting on in the hot sun.

Thanks for the replies. I do place my tags on the bottom. The store is inside a 7 story office building and sun is not an issue.

As far as someone purposely changing tags, I'm not too worried about it. This shop is in a large corporation (7,000 employees) so the if people are caught changing prices, they will likely lose their job. I was going to put some tent cards in the unique bowls but since I'm hoping for some decent sales, I'm not sure if it would be feasible to do this for every bowl.
I do like the inventory list idea and I may try that but I'll have to check with the shop manager.

Another idea I had would be to put some clear poly just on the bottom of the bowl so the tag has something to stick to....
 
I like the engraved serial number idea on the bowl and a tent tag and a master list with pictures. It makes it move into the more "designer" type of work in my opinion. And for me a hand engraved, rather than machine or laser engraved just adds to the hand turned effect.
