What I wouldn't give for this!

Driving over to my buddy's house last week I stopped my car in the middle of the street to gawk at this oak tree. I'm betting the owners think it's ugly, but man alive, it's got some beautiful burls on it!

I keep looking at the pictures on my iphone and my wife says, "Looking at tree porn again?" :biggrin:

I would ask them just as a community favor, wouldn't want that ugly old tree falling over and damaging something.

If that thing is anywhere in the houston city limits I'd bet the owners already have a signed option from somebody to remove it if it ever gets damaged. Too many woodsharks in the area for something like that to not be spoken for, probably.
