Went to the dentist today....

Following advice from the group, I took along my pen box with 20 pens- a mix of my new New Zealand pens and flat top acrylics - both BP and RB -

Friendly dentist analyzed the pens to death...but after the visit his receptionist bought 4 acrylics without blinking and asked me to bring more pens on my next visit....YES!

Plus, she's local, she's a crafter and wants me to "show her how to make pens"...do I hear doors opening or is that wind blowing through my brain???

That's great, Joe! I talked my dentist out of a few pieces of base plate wax visit before last. I "gave" him a pen on my last visit. He was like a kid with a new toy! Then he called me into his office and asked me if I took orders. Of course I told him yes and he said he'd be ordering some as gifts. I asked if they would be for other dentists (many like to do that sort of thing) and he said, "No, for my staff." You never know where such opportunities may lie. []
