Well this was by far the WORST craft show that I've attended in a long time !
$45.00 for a table for the 2 days and $20.00 in sales !!
The one , and only , sale I made was to another vendor who's wife is a reporter for a local newspaper and always complains about never being able to find a pen when she needs it , so he was looking for a pen that's on a neck chain or string , etc. , and wanted to know if I could make one for him . I said sure but it would be a while for me to get the parts . When I did check out the kits , I found that the pen is only 3" long , and decided that that wasn't what he wanted so I came up with the pen shown below .
I simply took the top and clip off the pen design that he liked and replaced it with the top section from a key ring and added a piece of leather lacing .
I showed it to him on Sunday and he absolutely loved it especially when he found out that the original neck pen is only 3" long .

I think that from now on I'll make a few pens like this and I can always use the lower end of the key ring for the top of a pen designed for a desk set .
