Weekend Bolt Action

This is my first attempt at making bolt action pens I am new to pen making. I have spent a few hours on this forum reading and watching videos. I made a few mistakes but I think they turned out ok.

VERY NICE work ! Looks like you changed the lever on the middle one.

Is the barrel on the left hand one turned from bone or antler ? If so, did you finish it with CA ?

Nice work! I also just tried my hand at bolts just before Christmas. I think I've made about eight so far. So as long as you have your barrels trimmed at the ends, you hardly can go wrong (Wallstreet & Sierra's assemble very similar). Start showing them off in person and people will start wanting to buy them.

You are correct I turned the bolt I think I might like it better that way. The one the left is made out of black walnut with sap wood it came out lighter than I figured it would. I did try to make that one out of antler but my drill bit came out through the side. Looks like all of my antlers are too small for a 3/8 hole in the middle I guess I will have to shoot bigger bucks!
