Wedding Pens.

Hi,


A friend of mine is getting married, so I wanted to make him and his wife to be a couple of pens they could use everyday.


Didn't want to be limited to white or cream colours so I made 2 segmented pens out of Leadwood and Panga Panga.


I inverted the segmentation on each pen, so the girl gets the light (Panga Panga) Eurpoean with Leadwood detail, and the guy gets the Dark (Leadwood) Cigar, with Panga Panga detail.


Boxes are spalted Sycamore.


Any comments welcome.

Wow thats a really nice concept. And If I'm not mistaken, the boxes form a heart. Very nice both in idea and execution.

Yes you figured it out, they are indeed a loveheart. I posted the box photo's seperate to the pens in "Other things we make".

Didn't want to post too many photo's in one go.

Looks very cool, Kenny. Nice and straight in the segments and subtle too. The boxes are exceptional ( should have read the other thread to check you made them first, but I'm assuming you did) There is plenty of surface area to have their names engraved.Do you plan engraving them?[]

nice pens, great boxes! I recently gave a wedding set of Holly and Blackwood Jr Statesmen and was informed that the lady of the house would be claiming the blackwood! (He's not too happy with his pretty white pen!)
