I've made several wedding pens over the years, but none as important as this one. It's for my son's wedding. I love my future daughter-in-law, she is an incredibly loving and wonderfully unique person. She's a nurse in a prison, has a lot of tattoos, and wears camouflage cowboy boots to work. My son is a guard at the same prison, in fact, that's where they met. I knew I needed to find an unusual kit, so I chose the PSI Steampunk, in antique brass/copper. The wood I chose is Bethlehem olive wood. I am absolutely overjoyed with how it turned out. The engraver I use will fill the engraving if you desire, so I chose purple fill since that's Heather's favorite color. I also turned a simple stand out of purpleheart. I can't wait to give them to Joe and Heather!

Disclaimer: I heard this from a friend of mine who is a guard at a prison. Question: How many guards does it take to escort a prisoner down a flight of stairs? Answer: None, he fell.
