Hi Everyone, Our God daughter is getting married in Punta Cana in June. She has asked me if I would make a pen for signing the guess book. I figure on doing a stick pen of some sort. http://www.leevalley.com/images/item/woodworking/projects/88 k7302s2.jpg

Has anyone out there have any suggestions. I am open to all ideas. I will likely use something like Purple heart as I plan on matching it to the wedding frame I am making for her wedding gift.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Mike

Mike ---

Here is a picture of the wedding pen stand that I made for my wife's cousin out of CORIAN, KALLENSHAAN WOODS did the engraving (great price, workmanship and delivery)

The pen that won the modified slim line catagory by Felipe Monge was pretty sharp. With your special combination of materials it could be what you are looking for... (see http://www.penturners.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21559)

I'm also making a pen for my son's wedding in may. I'm using alternative ivory with an Emperor Jr. fountain pen. I plan on using Ken at Kallenshaan to engrave it as well.

I don't have a picture handy, but I did a wedding pen for some friends using the filigree style (e.g. http://arizonasilhouette.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=568) over a white pearl acrylic.

I've made several wedding guest book pens from the CSUSA's Sterling Silver filigree kit. I usually use pink ivory given the story behind the wood I think it's fitting

Being new to this forum and after reading about the winners of the slimline pen contest I was wondering is there a section where you could see the entire entry group??? Also are there more of these contests somewhere here???
