It's been two months in the making, but thanks to Steve Strassburg's (toolcrazy) basic design and help and hours and hours and HOURS of work by LOML and me, our new web site is up and running (well, jogging [:p]). We're still making changes here and there, but we'd REALLY like your opinions on our new site!

Thanks,
Mark

P.S. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve's service in both design and hosting to anyone.

Now I like that site. Very nice and clean and easy on the eyes. Easy to navigate also. Good job to you, your wife and toolcrazy. one thing that is throwing me off is the homepage. When I hit the back button to go back to the homepage changes on me. Even when I hit refresh so something I was wanting to look at that I seen I have to go searching for. Hope I explained that right.

The new products box rotates the products added that month. If you have more than 9 new products, they all get a chance on the front page.

Minor suggestion .. very minor ... on your "About Us" page .... add your email address. :D
Don't add your primary e-mail address. You will start to see a huge amount of spam very quickly on any e-mail address posted. The address becomes useless after a while due to spam. If you want to post an address post a disposable one and rotate it out monthly.
I find using a contact-me form is more practical, even then the address used by the form will be picked up by the spammers.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I've taken Brad's suggestion and just made a link in the About Us page to the Contact Us page. Good catch, Doc! I just cut the text from a Word doc and didn't think(!) about email. I've also increased the number of items shown on the home page from 9 to 12 - is that too many for some of the smaller screens? It is now a better match for the sidebar, but looks "long" on my laptop - thoughts?

Thanks!
Mark

edit: John - The photo thing was put in with my requirements. I HATE having to click 3 times just to get a better view of what I was looking at! Steve found the add on to Zen Cart that does that. Very cool cart, indeed.:D
