"Night game started at noon?"

"...and from above a voice boomed, "score ten points on MY Bears, will you??"

What do you see as a good caption??

That storm was a monster downstate. Washington, IL is 11 miles away from us, some sources say the tornado there had wind speeds of 166 mph. So EF 3 or 4. An entire section of the town is leveled, one person killed. The path started south of Peoria then angled along the southeast. This afternoon, people were finding pictures and bank statements from Washington, in Morris, IL about 80 miles away. We were moving my Mother-inlaw, so weren't even home. We lost a few branches, so a little more cleanup than just leaves. Really crazy for mid November. It was 70 degrees at 11am, low of 37 tonight.

It was pretty nasty here for about 15 minutes or so. I could hear sirens from all my surrounding towns and then ours finally started. Luckily no touch down here.

"Think a time would be wise"

Thank God California has boring weather. Hope every body is ok. Those things are scary. Earthquakes aren't weather and don't happen to often at the damaging ones.

Tornado

The tornado(s) were going nuts in Grundy and Will counties. There might have been some action around the LeSalle/Peru area, Coal City and Diamond were definitly hit. North side of Channahon was hit.
The tornado crossed I55 and headed northeast and was headed for New Lenox the last I heard. Didn't hear of any damage in New Lenox on the news. Everything was supposed to be heading northeast towards indiana.
Had alot of wind and hail damage over a very large area, many many counties.
Will probably know more in the morning when all the news comes in. Hope it isn't like the tornado we had up here in '96.
