I believe that medal was VERY important to you, Canadians. While I did NOT see the game or hear it, I think your efforts to host the Olympics were phenomenal.

Happy for you!!!!

Of coarse your were my second choice for winning, but I feel no shame. It was a great game and well played by both sides. Congratulation to Canada. Well done. I agree with Ed, Canada has done a great job with the Olympics. Thank you for all the great entertainment. I surely hate to see it end.

haha Paul I had the same feelings about Canada being my second choice, I just didn't know how to say it elegantly. Canada did a great job with the Olympic's. My only complaint was how the networks showed it. I work PM's and could not see much of it when its only 1 hr time zone different. 8(

What an awesome game that was. It's kinda weird hootin and hollerin at 5 in the morning (live in Japan). The US team really poured their hearts into this game and entire tournament for that matter. Four years from now those young guys will mature and they will be the team to beat.

I really wish I was home (Vancouver) to join in on the celebrations. By all accounts the atmosphere in the city has been amazing for the past two weeks... after a shaky start. 14 golds...the new olympic bar... SET.

Congratulaions to Canada for a great game and a wonderful hosting of the olympics. I am very happy for Steve Yzerman and Mike Babcock. The USA fought hard and should feel no shame. Who should be ashamed is the networks for only showing Cindy Crosby after the win...he was not the only guy on the Canadian team.

The Olympics overall was fun to watch. I'd like to see more sport and less talking. But overall fun.

and.. way to go USA, you took the total medal count! And medaled in some sports for the first time in decades.
