Yes it is that date in the Calendar year that we all remember where we were when one of the most horrific events happened and took so many lives and is still taking them. September 11 2001 seems like yesterday and the tragic events of that day still are cemented in our eyes and brains. I have used this scrollsawn plaque I made that year as a symbol to remind us to stop and reflect on those events and remember all the souls we lost who just went to work as a normal day and also all those who were there to help in all capacities and also all those to this day still are passing because of those events. We shall always remember and pray this never happens again.

Never forget. This day changed the way I relate to my loved ones forever. So many of these folks went to work like any other day, and never came home. 🇺🇸

I've thought about making something like the OP's work for 2/13-15/1945.

These are the dates for the bombing raid on Dresden, in Germany, where over 25,000 people, including American POWs, died.
I've had an interest in this since I read Slaughterhouse Five when I was in high school. I've never been able to forget this.

There are many things that happen that we should not forget. We should also try to learn from them.

Very true.

If we don't even try to learn, we're doomed.
